Good taste and color, chocolate always attract anyone. Brown is the color of a safe, neutral, also biting.
In fashion there is a saying “never a black one”. That is, black is the safest color worn anywhere and anytime. Indeed, black has all the characters that can be raised according to the situation.
In contrast to the fashion, in residential design, brown who plays an important role. Character color is close to the ground to make chocolate could warm the atmosphere and create a sense of comfort, perfect for the family room.

That statement was punctuated by the Chief Architect Association of Indonesia, Jakarta, Ahmad Djuara “I hope that the graduates of architecture can become a professional in his field.” He also added that education at FMU architecture differs from what the other campuses. “The combination of academic faculty and professional good enough, it looks from the work of students who exhibited more expressive,” he added.
Glenn Hartanto, lecturer at the Department of Architecture FMU, as well as the exhibition curator, hopes the exhibition will attract and benefit the many visitors. “Feel the story implied by the series of works on display as well as the forms exposed,” he said.
“This event is held in partnership with the committee Jakarta Architecture Triennale 2009, which also opened on Wednesday (4 / 11). During this 18 day event open to the public,” said Public Relations Section Head FMU, Rosse Hutapea.
Color and Emotion Children

Color and children are two inseparable elements. Of infants, children already know the color. Proven, they are more like primary-colored toys such as red, blue, and yellow color than the pastels.
Some psychologists such as Hemphill in 1996, Lang in 1993, and Mahnke in 1996, has been doing research on color and its relation to children’s emotions. The result, they admit there is a relationship between colors with children’s emotions, though there are some things that still doubtful.
Doubt they are based on the different human cultures on a color. In America for example, red or encouraging votes aggressiveness. While in China, red symbolizes celebration and luck, and calming effect. However, there is a universal effect that occurs in the world due to the use of color.
Color & Interior
According Anies Alkuratu interior designer, color is a compound of the interior. Quite closely related to children’s emotions. Therefore, careful in choosing colors for children, especially in spaces which are often occupied by children such as bedrooms, bathroom, playroom and study room. Other spaces such as living room, dining room and living room not big enough impact on children.
Colors are preferable bright colors which can be optimized for stimulating creativity, encouraging, influencing aesthetic sense, imagination, strengthen, and reinforce motor stimulation. In addition, children also have a positive reaction to the bright colors, like pink, blue, or red. Any negative reaction will be given to dark colors like brown, black and gray.
Universal Color Effect
Red: dynamic, vibrant, stimulating, active, strong, warm, aggressive. If too much, these colors can cause anger, stress, impatience, intimidation, revenge, and the atmosphere noisy. Should, should not be used for baby’s room (under 1 year).
Yellow: the color caught the eye hard, cheerful, warm, and energetic. Color is not suitable to be used in children’s bedroom, especially for the yellow is too bright, because it can cause glare and hard to rest.
Blue: the color that is most comfortable for the eyes, calm, safe, accepting, patient. Too much blue can cause the cold and make the child so passive. If you want to use the blue color, select the color is not too pale, so cold unimpressed.
Green: relaxed, quiet, natural, calming and seemed shy. Too much green, will make a child become lazy, so to neutralize can be combined with red or orange.
Orange: confident, friendly, full of joy. Orange in color can make a child’s room is always awake, so that should be combined with other colors. If too much orange, can make the room was dark, so it takes a lot of the incoming light.
Purple: can increase a child’s imagination and creativity. But too much purple can also create a mood of troubled children and cause children too want power.
Lilac: spiritual impressed. Do not use the lilac in the room the boys because it can evoke femininity. So as not to seem bland, match with black or silver.
