List of Most Ethical Companies in 2008

Many global companies that runs the program of corporate social responsibility (Corporate Social Responsibility / CSR) improvise. These companies are rarely balanced with corporate activities that are ethical.
As quoted from Ethisphere.com, Tuesday (04/14/2009) to be a company that deserves thumbs up for his behavior to the worker, environment and society with not enough funds flushed UD $ 100 million to fund solely for the sake of publicity activities to improve company image.
Institution think tank, the Ethisphere Institute based in the U.S. made a list of ’2008 World’s Most Ethical Companies’ contains 99 companies that are considered to give a role model.
A total of 20 companies that entered the list in the year 2007 should be backward in the 2008 sample that came out of Toyota, Canon, Sharp.
The 99 companies come from 33 industries judged from several criteria such as innovative, running CSR, has a good track record in the laws and regulations, executive responsibilities, good corporate governance, internal systems are good company and a leader in its industry .
As an example of an ethical companies like to sell a good product to the public and accountable, not to discrimination or other illegal activities and does not damage the environment.
Ethisphere Institute also admitted there is no perfect business, such as facing a lawsuit or exposed to crises. However Ethisphere gave acungan to companies that always tried to do so.
